Gillie Da Kid is in the crosshairs of lil wayne‘s camp – all thanks to comments he made about his recent interaction with Weezy.
It’s tricky with Raquel Harper
Gillie was on “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” earlier last week when he claimed Lil Wayne seemed scared of him, saying hello and quickly running out of the room when the two met recently.
Apparently, the president of Young Money, macmaine, caught wind of the interview and blazed Gillie on Instagram, saying he was capping their decades-long beef. During the interview with Rachel, Gillie said he recently saw Lil Wayne at an event at Jackson State University and claims that a shaken Weezy “got the hell out of here!” after a brief encounter.

Mack Maine released footage from the JSU reunion which sees a smiling Wayne briefly hooking up with Gillie and her ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ co-host Wallis – but doesn’t seem to have the tension that Gillie claims to have felt during the exchange.
MM then dragged Gillie further, sarcastically asking if he had indeed written “Tha Carter” (Wayne’s 2004 album), which wrote the other 4 successful episodes.
Mack and Wayne have been thieves for years, so you can pretty much guarantee that Wayne shares the same feelings.
The drama stems from the fact that Gillie allegedly did extensive ghostwriting work for a then-newly solo Lil Wayne and he continued to claim he never got paid. Luckily, their beef never got violent, but did see some ugly diss tracks coming from Gillie’s direction.
One person not in the crosshairs is Raquel… who didn’t garner much animosity from the convo, just clarifications.
