No more trouble for Tammy sytch – aka WWE Hall of Famer, Sunny – who was arrested this morning in New Jersey for allegedly illegal possession of a weapon and uttering terrorist threats, TMZ Sports has learned.
Court records show Sytch, 49, was arrested in Keansburg, NJ and taken into custody at Monmouth County Jail at 11 a.m.
The exact nature of the alleged crimes is unclear, but records indicate that the wrestling legend was charged with 3 counts – 2 for illegal possession of a weapon (it does not appear that the alleged weapon was a firearm) and 1 for terrorist threats.
The statute of the NJ reads as follows … “A person is guilty of a felony of the third degree if he threatens to commit a crime of violence with the intention of terrorizing another person or causing the evacuation of a building, d ” a meeting place or a public establishment. transport, or otherwise to cause serious public inconvenience, or recklessly disregarding the risk of causing such terror or inconvenience. “
The nature of the suspected threats is currently not known.
FYI, New Jersey has no felonies and misdemeanors. They have degrees. The lower the degree, the more likely the accused is to be sentenced to imprisonment or imprisonment.
Weapon charges are classified as third degree, while threat charges are classified as 4th degree. If convicted, the weapons charges are each punishable by a prison sentence of 3 to 5 years. The accusation of threats carries a one-year sentence.
Sadly, Sytch has had many issues with the law over the years. In February 2019, Tammy was arrested for DUI … on 6th time she has been arrested for the royalty.
She also spent a lot of time behind bars … 8 months in prison in 2018.
After her release, Sytch went to rehab and vowed to stay sober.
Developing story …
