“[A Conor fight is] just a lost cause, “Usman says …” because we both know Conor – the only time Conor gets up in the welterweight division is if he’s able to pick lightweights with double digit losses it can remove and not reduce weight to become light. “
“If Conor wants a welterweight piece, he knows who the division king is. I’m not going anywhere! I’m here!”
There was also talk of a possible match between Conor McGregor and Masvidal across the board … so we asked Usman who would win this fight.
“Honestly I don’t know and honestly I don’t care. At this point in my career, I’m just worried about myself.
Usman says his goal is to return to the Octagon and fight the best in the world – noting he still hopes he can attract Georges St-Pierre out of retirement!
“Yeah, I’d love to test myself against a guy like that. But, for Conor, if he wants a piece, he can come talk to the king. Those aspirations to be a welterweight champion, seriously turn into nightmares when you enter this octagon with me. “
