Tyron Woodley Says Nick Diaz Belongs In UFC Hall of Fame, Here’s Why …
Nick diaz belongs to the UFC Hall of Fame, despite never winning a UFC title … so said Tyron woodley.
“He’s done enough in his career, in my opinion, to be inducted into the Hall of Fame,” Tyron said on this week’s “Hollywood Beatdown”.
Diaz began his UFC career in 2003 with an armband submission victory over Jeremy jackson.
He beat guys like Robbie lawler before a confrontation with Diego Sanchez on “The Ultimate Fighter 2” finale (Diaz lost that fight).
Nick jumped to Strikeforce, where he DOMINATED – winning his 7 fights between 2009 and 2011, winning the welterweight title and defending it 4 times.
Eventually, the UFC bought Strikeforce and brought Diaz back to the UFC roster where he beat BJ Penn and lost epic battles against guys like Georges St-Pierre and Anderson silva.
Diaz, 37, is rumored to be back … but Tyron believes he already has a Hall of Fame CV.
There’s a lot more to the episode … including Tyron explaining why he’s FINALLY ready to fight Colby Covington September 19, a fight that we have been talking about for about 2 years.
