Tupac Shakur’s Brother Slams Trump for ‘Disrespectful’ Jab at Kamala
TupacThe family says that Asset campaign using the rapper as a prop to make fun of Kamala harris was not cool and out of place, and although he wants an apology … he doesn’t hold his breath.
Mopreme Shakur, Tupac’s half-brother, told TMZ … that he was “clearly disrespectful” to his family for the president’s campaign to leave a ticket for Tupac at the vice-presidential debate.
If you missed it, the Trump camp confirmed that they invited Tupac on Wednesday night as a blow to Senator Harris, who recently claimed Tupac was the “best rapper alive” in an interview. She quickly understood her mistake and laughed at it … but Mopreme doesn’t laugh at Team Trump’s trolling work.
He says that’s not surprising, because “we should know about Trump’s disrespect for the black and brown community.”
Mopreme adds that he knows POTUS won’t say he’s sorry, so instead he’s aiming high – saying Trump can come to terms with the family by freeing his father, Tupac’s stepfather, from jail.
His father, Mutulu, was sentenced to 60 years in 1988 for RICO conspiracy, armed robbery and bank robbery assassinations. Mopreme says his father took full responsibility for his crimes and served as a force for good and against violence while incarcerated … but he was denied parole 8 times.
Trump seems unlikely to get involved, but Mopreme is taking a chance.
As for Kamala … Mopreme says her snafu just shows that she has an excellent taste in music, and it’s no surprise that Tupac is her favorite because she’s from Oakland. He added, that is California’s love for Senator Harris and strongly encourages everyone to vote.
