Trump says at Michigan Rally, Pushing Around Protesters a “Beautiful Thing”
President Donald trump said cheerfully to a crowd at a rally in Michigan on Saturday night … it puts a smile on her face to see police pushing protesters.
Trump told his enthusiastic supporters that there was “something very beautiful … watching everyone get pushed around”, referring to the way the National Guard responded to protesters in Minneapolis after the death George floyd.
Trump gloated that his comments were not “politically correct” but then hissed the dog at the crowd … “You understand, you probably understand better than I do.”
But Trump didn’t finish … he went after the governor Gretchen whitmer, who was the target of a right-wing kidnapping plot that many believe Trump himself inspired the Michigan liberation rhetoric.
Trump brushed aside the plot – mocking the governor by saying, “They said she was threatened” – and regretted that Whitmer partially blamed him for the terrorist plot. The crowd loved it, chanting, “Lock her up.” Trump seemed happy.
Whitmer did not wait for Trump to finish his speech, tweeting: “This is exactly the rhetoric that has put the lives of me, my family and other government officials at risk as we try to save the lives of our people. fellow Americans, ”she wrote. “This has to stop.”
