The 9-year-old family Ezra Blount – who was allegedly trampled during the concert and later died of his injuries – rejects the rapper’s offer to pay for the funeral … this according to their lawyer, Bob hilliard, who has just filed a complaint against Scott on behalf of the Blount.
In a letter, obtained by Rolling Stone, Hilliard writes … “Your client’s offer is declined. I have no doubt that Mr. Scott feels remorse. His coming journey will be painful. responsibility for this tragedy. “
Blount was laid to rest in a private ceremony last week … after being removed the life support a few weeks later the tragedy beginning of November. Ezra became the 10th person in the death toll, with hundreds more injured.

This rejection came in response to an olive branch extended by Travis’ lawyer, Daniel Petrocelli, who sent the Blount the offer of funeral expenses on behalf of his client, writing … “Travis is committed to doing his part to help the families who have suffered and to begin the long process of healing in the Houston community. To this end, Travis would like to pay the funeral costs for Mr. Blount’s son.
