Ezra Blount, the youngest victim of the Astroworld concert tragedy, continues Travis Scott and Live Nation for the horrific injuries he suffered – injuries that could still cost him his life.
Ezra is the 9-year-old who was “trampled almost to death” during the Friday night concert in Houston. According to the lawsuit, filed by a famous civil rights lawyer Ben crump, Ezra was “suddenly forced to gaze in terror at several injured and killed spectators” as the crowd surged.
In the documents, obtained by TMZ, Crump says that Ezra was “kicked, trampled and trampled” as people around him lifted “the unconscious bodies of friends and strangers and overcame them at- above the crowd, hoping to send them to safety. . “
The lawsuit vividly describes many of the footage we saw in videos of the ill-fated concert, adding that many people were crying out for “help with CPR and begging” Travis and the concert organizers to stop the concert.
According to the lawsuit, Ezra remains in an induced coma and on life support after sustaining severe liver, kidney and brain damage … and the injuries will affect his quality of life and his “ability to grow and thrive.”
The lawsuit blames Ezra’s injuries on Travis, Live Nation and several other entities… claiming that they “have sorely failed in their duty to protect the health, safety and lives” of all spectators. Specifically, Crump says they did not have enough security to implement crowd control measures and emergency medical support.
Crump tells TMZ that the main culprits in the Astroworld fiasco are Live Nation and the concert promoters and organizers. The lawsuit charges them with gross negligence which directly caused Ezra’s injuries and “indescribable emotional pain and mental anguish.” Ezra and her father are seeking general damages, as well as exemplary damages.
