Travis Scott is mobilizing to help the families of those who died at Astroworld Fest – offering to pay funeral expenses – and extending even more help to those affected.
Sources close to Travis tell us that he will fully cover any funeral costs that may arise for the families of the 8 people who died during the concert this weekend.
We are told that this will come from Travis’ own pocket, and that there will be no questions asked regarding these 8 people and what their families might need to properly rest their loved ones.
There’s more … Travis will also be partnering with BestHelp – a network of mental health professionals – to provide mental health services, free of charge, to anyone who has attended Astroworld Fest and who may need to talk about their trauma.
BetterHelp resources will consist of one-on-one virtual therapy sessions with qualified and licensed professionals working with the organization. On top of that, BetterHelp will also be teaming up with the National Alliance of Mental Illness for people who might need more help than just virtual… and there will be a hotline set up for that purpose, which Travis is also overseeing.
It is not clear exactly how Trav and co. will check complaints for the service, but we imagine it will be a system that checks people … to make sure they were there on Friday.

Of course, that can mean that there are thousands of people accepting it – as there were countless people in the crowd that night who could have been affected … and if that happens, this probably won’t be a cheap effort to make sure all of these people are taken care of.
It’s certainly a nice gesture … and just a step from Travis trying to do his fans good. Obviously, there may be a lot more to do – but at least it starts here.
As we reported … in addition to those who died, dozens more have been injured to varying degrees and hospitalized – and some of those people have already started sue against Travis and Live Nation.
BTW, if you haven’t heard … Travis also reimburses all Astroworld Fest attendees, in full.
Our sincere thanks to
