Todd and Julie Chrisley are likely headed to federal prison, but at least they had a hearty family meal before the bad news in court…and we got some pictures from the event.
Think “last supper”, but earlier today – the Chrisleys brought the family together for Sunday brunch 2 days before they were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion.
The family broke bread at Peach & the Porkchop, just outside of Atlanta — and witnesses tell us they made the most of it. Everyone was all smiles, although Todd had to get up to take a phone call for about 10 minutes.
Maybe it had to do with the case, as we were told everyone at the table was quiet and staring at Todd during the call. Anyway, the mood picked up when he sat down.
As we reported, Todd and Julie were guilty Tuesday from a long list of charges, but Todd’s attorney told us they plan to appeal the verdict.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia tells us the Chrisleys’ sentencing is scheduled for October and they face up to 30 years in prison.
For now, however, they are both under house arrest with location monitoring bracelets. Sooo… homemade brunches from now on.
Our sincere thanks to
