According to police documents, obtained by TMZ Sportsa caller reached the Huntington Beach Police Department around 9:54 a.m. Friday … claiming Ortiz’s home had been broken into.
Documents show the person alleged the house had been ‘trashed’ and a ‘safe was missing’. The person also said a window on Ortiz’s balcony was smashed.
As we reported, multiple officers were seen at Ortiz’s Huntington Beach home for hours on Friday investigate the scene.
It’s not yet known if any arrests have been made – but we’re told Ortiz was not home at the time of the incident and is safe.
In the documents, cops say Ortiz’s neighbors told them they would examine their surveillance cameras in hopes of helping them catch the culprits.
Ortiz – who grew up in Huntington Beach and fought in the UFC under the nickname “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” – has yet to publicly comment on the situation.
