Tip Top Curry Puff Closes Raffles City Outlet
The F&B industry continues to see a large number of closures, including MUJI’s Jewel Changi Airport and Bakerzin cafe.
Another bit the dust and this time it’s Singaporean brand Tip Top Curry Puff.
Yesterday (November 2), Tip Top Curry Puff announced on its Facebook page the closure of its Raffles City Shopping Center store.
A heritage brand
Tip Top Curry Puff started out as a stall selling only curry puffs in 1979.
Over the years, it has established itself as an iconic heritage brand renowned for its delicious traditional curry puffs inspired by Asian flavors and prepared with a special blend of 18 premium spices, potatoes and ingredients.
They then opened outlets in malls, Changi Airport and the CBD for people who want a quick bite or snack.
Tip Top is managed by ABR Holdings Limited, which also manages a portfolio of well-known restaurant companies and brands including Swensen’s, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Yogen Fruz, the now defunct Oishi Pizza and Season Confectionary & Bakery and Season’s Café in Malaysia.
Closure of the second outing within 3 months
This is the second Tip Top release that closed in the space of three months.
Earlier in August, they also shared on their Facebook page that they had closed their Westgate outlet.
According to their website, they currently have 7 outlets open in Singapore.
Tip Top Curry Puff fans can still frequent their existing outlets at Tampines Century Square, Compass One, Bugis Junction, One Raffles Place, Jubilee Square as well as Changi Airport Terminals 1 and 3.
