“The Bachelorette” boldly went where it hadn’t gone before, and while many fans didn’t… it is causing a masterful debate about what makes good television.
In the Monday night episode, Katie thurston – the main lady trying to find love this season – had a dare idea that “Seinfeld” fans know all too well… she asked her suitors to refrain from indulging each other.
Co-host Kaitlyn bristowe presented the challenge to the guys by calling it “Operation: WOWO” … which means “week off whacking off”. Or, as the show has dubbed it on Instagram, the “WHOA !!! WHOA !!!” challenge.
As you can see… Katie’s suitors seem in disbelief by the turn of events, but probably neither do the “Bachelorette” viewers who must have watched Kaitlyn explain to them. Or tried, anyway.
One of the guys, Connor B., has uttered a dozen euphemisms for masturbation, some of which have never been heard before, and one – Downtown Lester Brown – which is inaccurate … according to one definition online.
Regardless, the WOWO Challenge has caused notable controversy, with some fans calling it immature and dumb and claiming it goes against Katie’s sexual positivity.
Remember, she was the one who brought a vibrator with her when introduced to her Matt james on his season of “The Bachelor”.
Katie has already responded to reviews, saying people just need a sense of humor.
