Taylor Swift appeared on ‘SNL’ on Saturday night, singing a 10 minute version of the song about her breakup with Jake gyllenhaal … and wow, the words and the emotions behind it are biting.
Swift performed “All Too Well”, an excerpt from her new reissued version of “Red”.
You’ve heard the song before, but watching Taylor perform it must be pretty upsetting for Gyllenhaal … it’s really raw.
Taylor also took the stage during a skit with Pierre Davidson … a sketch called “Three sad virgins”. This is a roast of 3 guys in the series – Martin, Ben and John … skewer them so as not to have game.
The remastered version of “Red” dropped on Friday… and tons of companies went into the act changing their Twitter names to support the album… companies that include Starbucks, Sour Patch Kids, Olive Garden, Etsy, Panera Bread, Chips Ahoy, Taco Bell and even the Kansas City Chiefs.
As for “Red” … as you know, Taylor re-recorded a lot of her own songs from the Elusive Masters that she doesn’t own, and it got too big.
Taylor has been on “SNL” 5 times now … his first appearance was in 2009.
