Ketanji Brown Jackson takes no chances in the wake of an alleged threat to the life of another Supreme Court Justice…because his dinner reservation includes security guards.
We had Judge Jackson get out of her SUV and dash into District ChopHouse & Brewery in Washington DC for dinner on Wednesday…and as you can see, there’s a lot of muscle watching over her.
KBJ wastes no time entering the restaurant…and there are at least 4 Secret Service agents alongside the newest member of SCOTUS.
Let’s just say it’s not entirely unusual to see a member of SCOTUS with security, but Judge Jackson seemed to have an intentionally highly visible crew.
This is the first judge we’ve seen in public since a man was arrested out of court Brett Kavanaugh‘s home earlier Wednesday and charged with attempted murder … and the security presence for Jackson is an indication that SCOTUS is taking the threat seriously, in addition to a looming decision on abortion rights that should be very controversial.
Prosecutors say he is 26 Nicholas Roske carried a gun and had come all the way from California to kill Kavanaugh after finding the judge’s address online.
No word on any other known threats to the rest of SCOTUS…but it looks like Judge Jackson is well protected.
Our sincere thanks to
