Star of “Sons of Anarchy” Guillaume ChanceHollywood’s years as a badass and stuntman took their toll on the actor’s body, and his wife says those injuries made his later years very painful.
Lucking, who played Piney Winston on the popular show, died on October 18 at his Vegas home surrounded by family. His wife, Sigrid, tells us that Lucking has suffered a myriad of injuries during his career – which began in the 1970s – including a motorcycle accident where he fell 80 feet from a bridge while filming “Harold and Maude” … sunk for weeks.
Not only that, Lucking fell from a lot of horses and broke a lot of other bones during the many action roles he played … 2 knee replacements, back surgery, back surgery shoulder and more.
Sigrid tells us that Lucking spent the last year of his life in a wheelchair, that he had breathing problems and his heart was pounding… “He just gave up. He was tired and in a lot of pain. “
Lucking’s “SOA” character mirrored his real life in some ways, Piney Winston – who was the oldest member of the bike club – physically slowed down and was on oxygen as the series progressed.
Luck was 80 years old when he is dead … he is survived by Sigrid, two daughters, grandchildren and a sister.
