Winner of the “land of songs” Greg Scott is baffled and rightly upset, the new Jonas Brothers track replaces his song as NBC’s Olympic anthem… but worse yet, he says he only heard crickets from the Peacock.
We had the winner of Season 2 of “Songland” on Friday outside Mastro’s in Bev Hills, and we wanted some clarification on why his song “Miracle” – the track that won the songwriting contest of NBC – was dropped in favor of Jo Bros. ‘”Remember this.”
In short, Greg is confused about the ordeal and adds that no one at NBC has reached out to clarify it. In fact, he says he discovered the ‘ol switcheroo on Twitter. Phew.
ICYMI … “Miracle” has been selected by Baby Rexha as the series winner in April 2020. Bebe said she will cover the track and then be used to promote the Summer Olympics on the network. It should be noted that the episode was recorded before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the 2020 Games has reported.

Obviously, Greg felt like the song would still be used to promote the Games in 2021, and NBC suggested it when “Miracle” was used in an ad confirming the games were being pushed back to 2021.
Fast forward to now … Greg says he’s disappointed that the promotion could have been a life-changing accomplishment.
We asked him if he thought it was a coincidence the J Bros. track. became the anthem of choice last month … and a month after NBC announced a new series of competitions featuring the brothers.
Greg has strong feelings about it, and while he doesn’t overshadow the Jonases, he wants the network to stick to what he’s been told.
We have contacted NBC, but so far no word of response.
