Six Haitians who were in Florida for the Special Olympics this month have mysteriously disappeared…and now an active search is underway to find them.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office announced this week that John Oriol18 years old, Anderson Little Brother18 years old, Pierre Mianovich Berlus19 years old, Nicholson Fontilius20, Stevenson Jacket24, and Antione Joseph Mithon32 all disappeared on June 6.
According to the cops, The six – members of the Haitian Special Olympics delegation participating in the soccer competition – were last seen around 2:30 p.m. in Kissimmee. All, according to police, returned their hotel room keys, left their personal belongings, and then disappeared.
The sheriff’s office said it is now investigating the whole thing as a “missing person case.”

“We are in communication with Walt Disney World, Special Olympics and our law enforcement and federal partners,” cops said in a statement. “At this time, we believe this is an isolated event and do not suspect foul play.”
The Special Olympics event kicked off on June 5 in the Orlando area and is scheduled to run through the end of this week. According to organisers, it is expected to accommodate around 5,500 athletes and coaches – with around 120,000 people expected at the venues.
One of the missing Haitian Olympians, Petit-Frère, wrote in a social media post last week that he was thrilled with the event … and called it an “honor” to be part of the crew.
