Simon Antony Bird was born on the 19th of August, 1984, in Guildford, Surrey. Bird is the third of four children of Claremont McKenna College Professor Graham Bird and Heather.
Bird was educated at Cranmore School, West Horsley, the Royal Grammar School, Guildford, and Queens’ College, Cambridge, where he read History along with Inbetweeners co-star Joe Thomas.
