SharkNinja’s products are supposed to blend ingredients, not flesh, but a California woman claims one of her blenders made a bloody number on her fingers.
Nicole guttormsenThe kitchen appliance company is suing for its Nutri Ninja BL480 blender, which it says is a faulty and dangerous product … and it says these photos of the bloody mess confirm it.
In the documents, obtained by TMZ, Nicole says she was mixing ingredients into the Nutri Ninja when the cartridge peeled off the base … leaving the rotating blades exposed and causing significant injuries to her hand and fingers.
We will say this … his alleged photographic evidence is not for nausea.
You can see that 3 of Nicole’s fingers sustained gnarled injuries. Although it was not specified in his lawsuit, it does appear that some of the cuts went to the bone.
In any event, Nicole claims that the mixer is faulty because it has generated excessive pressure and the threads supposed to secure the cartridge to the blade assembly are not functioning properly.
Nicole takes legal action for medical costs, pain and suffering, loss of salary and loss of earning capacity. We have contacted SharkNinja, but so far … no word in return.
