Several Banks Announce Scheduled Maintenance And Service Disruption This Week

Several banks recently announced that they would undergo scheduled maintenance this week. Some of their services will experience temporary disruption.

Here’s what you need to know about each bank’s scheduled maintenance:

Rakyat Bank

Rakyat Bank tweeted that it will be interviewed from October 9 at 4 p.m. to October 12 at noon. He advised users to follow their social media channels for the latest updates on the matter.


Several services will be the subject of a planned maintenance in stages until October 17 at 6 a.m.

Public bank

The Star reported that Public Bank has also posted a system maintenance notice for its banking site and PB engage app. These services will be unavailable on October 8 from 12 p.m. to 4 a.m. However, the notice no longer appears to be on the Public Bank’s announcement page.


RHB tweeted that its Mobile Banking app will be temporarily unavailable:

These service interruptions will occur during off-peak hours and last only a few hours, so they may not affect your daily banking transactions. Nevertheless, these banks advise customers to complete their transactions in advance to minimize inconvenience.
