After all, Sesame Place might not be too friendly a neighborhood — more and more videos are surfacing showing the park’s costumed characters acting out of order with black kids … and now parent company water.
A few more clips have come to light since the initial video showing Rosita seemingly snubbing a few little black girls at Sesame Place in PA… and these new ones seem to demonstrate more of the same – that the mascots kinda mistreat or ignore kids of color.
One in particular is pretty crazy…it shows one of the Honkers rushing at a very young girl, who is African American, and literally knocking her over with his protruding belly.
Another video shows Bert walking down a line of children and clapping them, but then blatantly refusing to do so with an older black girl – who stares at the camera in shock.
There are even more tales of similar behavior… but none seem to have crystallized more than what went viral over the weekend. Sesame Place said this was a misinterpretation/misunderstanding and they apologized to the family to address it.
Of course, the family does not buy it and weighs its legal options amid suspicions of racism … as TMZ first reported.

Now, in light of all these other videos – which appear to show a pattern of this stuff at Sesame Palace – parent company Sesame Workshop, producer of the “Sesame Street” TV series, promises to tighten things up with training on the biases…plus an in-depth look at how park employees interact with customers.
They stop short of saying that the recorded incidents were intentional – which bias training wouldn’t really fix, frankly – but at least it’s on their radar, and everyone else’s too.

Definitely not a “sunny day” here… and it’s definitely NOT “A-OK”!
