In the images, taken on the set of “Rust” a few minutes after shootingyou see a gloomy Gutierrez tell the cops she was the gunsmith in the movie, followed by “Or at least I was” before saying to another officer, “Welcome to the worst day of my life.”
A female cop accompanies Gutierrez to the restroom, she mutters, “I can’t believe Alec Baldwin held the gun. It’s so fucked up.”
The camera continues to record as Gutierrez asks the cops if she can be taken in a squad car away from her colleagues, as she looks embarrassed, before saying, “I just want to get out of here and never show my face again. face in this industry.”
Gutierrez, who was trained as a gunsmith by her father, Thell Roseau, said to the officer, “I’m the only female armorer in the game and I just ruined my whole career.” She later refers to herself as a “f*****g failure”.
The images are part of hours released by the Santa Fe County Sheriff on Monday, including bodycam shot of Alec Baldwin worried about Halyna Hutchins. As we pointed out, Hutchins is dead of a gunshot wound sustained when what was believed to be a prop gun fired a real bullet.
The shooting investigation is continuing, but Baldwin and Gutierrez have been named as defendants in the litigation arising from the incident.
