Ricky Martin will appear in court virtually on Thursday to categorically refute his 21-year-old nephew’s claims that he had sex… TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge tell us… Ricky will appear before a judge in Puerto Rico on Thursday via Zoom. We are told he will go straight to the judge and strenuously deny he had a romantic/sexual relationship with the nephew who claimed such a relationship lasted 7 months.
We’re told Ricky will also outright dispute the nephew’s account that the singer stalked and harassed him.
As we reported, the nephew was granted a temporary restraining order last Friday barring Ricky from having any contact with him. The restraining order was ex parte, meaning neither Ricky nor his team were in court to refute the allegations. The judge will now decide whether or not to extend the injunction.
It has been reported that Ricky could face up to 50 years in jail if charged with an incest-related crime, but our sources say there is no such criminal investigation…just the civil restraining order.
As we reported, Ricky’s attorney said the nephew suffered from mental health issues, which Ricky’s brother said. saved on line.
