WWE Legend ric flair doesn’t mince words when it comes to his feelings on retiring from Vince McMahon …by saying outright that he hates it!
McMahon, 76 years old retired last week after decades as Chairman and CEO of WWE…so when Nature Boy joined the “TMZ Sports” show (aired weeknights on FS1) this week, we asked him if his former boss should have stayed on.
“Yeah, I think he’s one of a kind and I said that,” Flair tells us, adding that Vince has made a lot of careers out of his genius.
“He made so many people rich and he literally made chicken salad out of a lot of chicken shit. Mojo knows what I’m talking about. He made a lot of people rich.”
Flair went on to say that he does not approve of the allegations against McMahon (Vince is being investigated by a law firm hired by WWE to supposedly paying several former employees with whom he would have had relations).
“I mean they’re just trying to murder him now and who knows and all. I’m certainly not advocating anything negative and not taking sides on the issue that has apparently been raised, but I know as a person and what he did for me, there is no one like him.”
As for the future of the best wrestling organization in the world (McMahon bought the company from his father in 1982), Flair says the company is in good hands with Vince’s daughter and the current head of the WWE, Stephanie McMahon.
“I think Stephanie is a genius!”
As for Ric, it’s a huge week for the 2x WWE Hall of Famer… Sunday, Flair will be enter the square circle as a competitor for the last time in his incredible career.
More on this Ric match to come…stay tuned!
