‘RHONY’ Star Leah McSweeney Holding Out, Disrespected by Offer for New Season
Leah McSweeney is the new star who became a fan favorite on season 12 of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” but she could be a one-off sensation … unless Bravo ponies.
Sources close to the show tell TMZ … Leah is only offered a “tiny” pay raise for the upcoming 13th season of ‘RHONY’ – which would be her second – and she feels unreserved.
We’re told the “ Housewife ” escape is awaiting an offer she deems more deserving, given what she brought to the table in her first season … and she won’t be returning until she will not have received it. The clock is ticking, however – the new season is supposed to start ticking in a week or two.
Our sources say McSweeney made $ 3,000 per episode last season, which grossed her around $ 60,000, and she feels that Bravo is trying to underpay her with a similar offer for season 13.
Interestingly, the hold comes in the wake of Leah updating her Instagram bio to show that powerful talent agency WME is now replacing her.
For those who don’t know … Leah was part of the series through her relationship with Tinsley Mortimer, and fans found her a refreshing and exciting addition. Get naked and throw tiki torches around the pool at Singer RamonaHampton Nursery will do it for you!
We’ve reached out to Bravo and McSweeney reps… so far no word in return.
