The son of the former ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Lauri Peterson trafficked in drugs…at least according to prosecutors who say he was looking to sell fentanyl.
According to new legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Josh Waring faces criminal charges following an arrest in January, including criminal possession and sale of fentanyl, as well as a misdemeanor charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Orange County Sheriff’s Department sources told TMZ … a deputy saw Josh in the passenger seat of a car, recognizing him from a previous drug arrest. The deputy knew Josh was on parole for assault, which meant the cop could perform a random search, which he did, and allegedly found drugs in Josh’s lap.
Our sources say the deputy saw Josh brush the drugs off the floor of the car… drugs later identified as fentanyl and methamphetamine. We are told that Josh was arrested on the spot and taken to jail. As to why he was charged with selling fentanyl… it’s because of the amount found.

As you know, Josh has a history of legal issues… he was arrested in 2016 when he was charged with shooting a man outside a sober house. Josh spent 4 years in prison, where he once was ambushed and assaulted by another inmate brandishing razors wrapped in towels – the attack was filmed. It was later paroled.
Now Josh could spend more time behind bars.
