Rapper Polo G could soon be off the hook for allegedly beating up a Miami cop, as most of the charges against him are now dropped.
Prosecutors have launched 2 felony charges against Polo – assaulting a police officer and threatening an official, according to court records online and a representative for the Miami-Dade state attorney.
Polo’s misdemeanor charge was also dropped … we are told prosecutors found insufficient evidence to proceed with their case on all 3 of these charges.
TMZ broke history … Polo G was stopped for allegedly attacking a cop during a traffic stop in June.
The rapper still faces 2 counts of resisting an officer, but these are misdemeanors – and there is still a way for him to bring them down too.
His lawyer, Bradford Cohen, tells TMZ … Polo will enroll in an anger management program, and once it is completed, the remaining charges will be dropped and the case will be closed.
