As the decision on the fate of Roe vs. Wade looms, pro-choice activists have descended on the Tory Justice’s home Amy Coney Barrett Saturday…dressed in blood soaked clothes and holding dolls.
The group – members of Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights – went to the judge’s home in Falls Church, Virginia. The blood on the crotch of their clothes symbolizes forced births if Roe is knocked down.
There have been further protests at the homes of other Tory judges, and this may well escalate as the ruling is expected any moment now. Unless there is a sweeping change, it looks like the Court is set to overturn the 50-year-old precedent, which gives women a constitutional right to abortion with certain ground rules.
A protest became disturbing recently, when Nicholas Roske has been arrested for attempted murder… this after cops found him carrying a gun, ammo, crowbar and pepper spray near Justice’s home Brett Kavanaugh.
As you know, a draft notice disclosed last month, with 5 justices – a majority – signing on to overthrow Roe outright. There are discussions chief justice John Roberts will try to temper the decision so that Roe isn’t outright knocked down, but that sounds more like a pipe dream given the strong language used in the draft advisory.
