The MLB All-Star Game could have become the scene of a mass shootout this week … had it not been for the hotel maid, who warned cops of a huge collection of guns that she found in one of the bedrooms.
Local reports say 4 people were arrested over the weekend in Denver – 3 men and a woman – on charges of illegal weapons after cops said they discovered an incredible artillery cache in their rooms at the Maven hotel … just 2 blocks from Coors Field, where the All-Star events are taking place this week.
ABC7 Denver reports that a total of 16 long guns (AKA, rifles) were confiscated, along with over 1,000 rounds of ammunition – plus body armor.
Their hotel rooms were on the 8th floor of the hotel … and their balconies had a bird’s eye view of downtown Denver. It is not known what their intentions were, but some are already connecting the dots … saying it could have been a repeat of the Las Vegas massacre if it had not been stopped by the one-on-one housekeeper who hissed.
ABC7 says 3 of the 4 suspects have criminal records, and one of them allegedly posted a scary message on Facebook saying they would “come out big.”
All the warning signs are there … and it’s terrifying to think of what it has turned out to be.
