Britney Spears‘ marriage was dramatically interrupted, as her first husband, Jason Alexandershowed up trying to crash the event…resulting in a police response.
Jason went live on Instagram on Thursday as he approached security at the event – telling him that Britney had invited him – and that she was his first and only wife, and that he was going crash the event before some sort of physical struggle. Alexander’s phone then freezes.
Somehow, Alexander was able to get inside Britney’s house, where he continued to broadcast live. He was finally detained outside.
We’re told the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded to a trespassing call and are still at the scene.
Alexander showed his public support for Britney during the #FreeBritney movement — he attended a rally outside an LA courthouse in August 2020 and told our cameras that he and Britney had been in communication recently.
Britney and Jason tied the knot in January 2004 in an impulsive ceremony in Las Vegas…and called it quits 55 hours later.
TMZ revealed the story – Britney and Sam Asghari are set to tie the knot at a ceremony in Los Angeles on Thursday.
