Offset & Common Perform for Joe Biden’s Atlanta Drive-In Event
Joe Biden brought in hip hop allies for a COVID-safe event in A-town – Offset and Common performed, and Outkast helped with his intro.
The presidential candidate on Tuesday held a drive-through rally in Atlanta, where dozens of cars parked around a stage near the Cellairis Amphitheater in Lakewood.
This was Joe’s second stop of the day in Peach State, and it included an individual moment with warm-up numbers.
Offset, a native of the Atlanta area, performed his song, “Clout”, while Common seemed to be freestyle – and then when Joe was intro’d, the DJ called out “Hey Ya!” Sure, playing Outkast feels like bending to the ATL crowd, but hey … there are only 7 days left to vote!
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and US Senate candidate Jon Ossof were also on hand to inflate the Biden / Harris ticket.
Afterward, Biden split time opposite with Offset and Common backstage. All were wearing facial blankets, and Joe was digging the Offset chain … which featured a picture of Kulture.
