NY Jets Star Jamal Adams Rips Woody Johnson Over Alleged Racist Comments

recent news
10:38 am PT – NY Jets Star Safety Jamal Adams – the team’s best player – piled on Woody Johnson following the shocking allegations.
“We need the RIGHT people at the top,” Adams said … “Evil is wrong!”
He added: “Good is true. Evil is false! If you don’t think it’s bad, you are part of the problem and not the solution.”
Adams has had some beef with the organization for a while and in recent months he’s made it clear that he wants out. Now with his boss in the crosshairs, Adams doesn’t waste the opportunity to pursue him in public.
It should be interesting to see how that goes.
Owner of NY Jets Woody johnson – who is also the US Ambassador to the UK – has been the subject of a State Department investigation for alleged racist and sexist comments to his staff, according to CNN.
In short, the CNN report portrayed Johnson as a racist and sexist meathead, who often made insensitive comments about minorities and women in the ability to do his job.
Here are some of the allegations …
– In 2018, Johnson reportedly made racist remarks ahead of a Black History Month event. CNN says he “looked agitated and asked if the audience would be” a whole bunch of black people? “”
Multiple sources told CNN that Johnson openly questioned the need for Black History Month – and “argued that black fathers are not staying with their families and that is the” real challenge. ” “
The incident was reported to the Inspector General’s office, CNN said.
– Multiple sources tell CNN that Johnson would hold official meetings at a posh “men-only” club in London called “White’s” – where no female diplomat was allowed to attend.
– Johnson is also accused of making all kinds of offensive statements about women during her work as an ambassador … many of which were about appearance.
CNN described some of the comments this way … “According to a source, at some public events Johnson would begin his remarks by joking about the number of pretty women in attendance – reducing them to decorative items in a manner described by one. source as ‘just sort of cringeworthy.’ “
The State Department did not comment on the status of the investigation – but told CNN that Woody was a “valued member of the team that has led Mission UK honorably and professionally.”
“We stand alongside Ambassador Johnson and hope he will continue to ensure that our special relationship with the UK is strong.”
We’ve reached out to the New York Jets for comment – so far no word in return.
Johnson – who has been appointed Ambassador to the UK by the President Donald trump in 2017 – is an heir to the Johnson & Johnson Empire.
He bought the NY Jets in 2000 for $ 635 million.
