Neil deGrasse Tyson Says Slim Chance Asteroid Hits U.S. Before Election
TMZ.com
Neil deGrasse Tyson tries to allay fears about the asteroid that was lucky enough to hit the United States ahead of election day – but also knows everyone wants to panic, because it’s 2020.
The famous astrophysicist joined us on “TMZ Live” Thursday for a science lesson on the refrigerator-sized space rock rushing towards Earth. Here’s the truth, folks … he says the odds of him landing on US soil on November 2 are less than 1%.
But does that sound really heartwarming with everything we’ve seen so far in 2020?!? I do not think so.

The good news … Neil has more information that might help you relax. Even if the asteroid ends up in line for a direct hit, it says it is NOT the size of a killer, and instead, it will only create a helluva light show.
Neil, who hosts Fox’s new show, “Cosmos: Possible Worlds,” says direct success is even a little ahead of ourselves. The prediction is based on a limited amount of data – the proverbial “small sample size” for all baseball freaks who enjoy the World Series.

Of course, NASA has also confirmed that the asteroid is on a path to possibly strike … and the space agency remains silent on the 3 possible impact points. Thank you?
Neil also had some cool nuggets on another asteroid that might hold clues to the origin of our solar system. Fascinating things that clearly don’t align with biblical teachings, but he even touched on this with us.
Sorry, Mister President, but the science is pretty awesome.
Our sincere thanks to
