Connecticut boy’s mother accused of setting fire to another boy hits out at alleged victim’s mother… claiming she defamed her son and wants the mother arrested.
Here’s what’s undisputed… Dominick Krankall, 6, was badly burned while playing in his garden in Bridgeport. Dominick’s mother has accused Laura Giacobbe’s son of intentionally setting the boy on fire.
Now the new development… a video that surfaced on Friday shows 4 children, including Dominick, setting fires and kicking a soccer ball engulfed in flames. The video, originally published by the NY Post, shows Dominick stepping on a plastic cup filled with gasoline and in flames.
Dominick suffered terrible burns to his face and legs.
So Laura Giacobbe is furious and told the Post that she actually helped Dominick’s mom by ordering her to put him in a tub immediately because his legs were on fire.
Giacobbe says Dominick’s mother called the police and accused her son of intentionally dozing Dominick with gas and throwing a flaming soccer ball at him.
Laura says there was absolutely no bullying and it was just a horrible accident. She is outraged by Dominick’s mother and wants her to answer the law. She also adds that his mother should have watched her son better in her own backyard.
Dominick’s mother stands by her story, telling the Post that Laura is a “liar.” She says the video is edited and took a month and a half to come out.
Dominick’s mother created a GoFundMe account with the caption “Justice for Dominik… STOP BULLYING!” and raised $500,000.
