Mayweather Boxing Prodigy Danny Gonzalez Murder Case, 3rd Suspect Arrested
A third man was arrested in connection with the murder of Floyd Mayweather boxing prodigy Danny gonzalez, TMZ Sports confirmed.
The cops say that 28 Joseph goldsmith surrendered on Monday and was arrested for 1st degree murder.
He is now the third suspect officials have booked for murder following the September 7 incident.
As we previously reported, Gonzalez, 22 – who signed with Mayweather’s The Money Team in 2016 – was killed on labor day in Moreno Valley, California.
Authorities say Gonzalez was shot and killed along with two other victims … and succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the scene.
Authorities reserved for 27 years André Richee and 32 years old Lee mooring earlier this month first degree murder charges … and had been looking for Goldsmith before finally surrendering this week.
The three men now face the death penalty if charged and convicted.
What is still unclear is the motive for the murder … the cops have yet to reveal why they think Danny has been targeted.
Gonzalez had major potential in the boxing world … Mayweather had hailed him as a bona fide future star, saying of the fighter when he was a teenager: “There are times when you know you’ve just dropped the ball. ‘gold and this is one of them. “
