Master P says the environment at Astroworld Fest was kosher… while also acknowledging that no one saw this tragedy coming.
We caught up with the rap mogul on Tuesday in Los Angeles and asked his take on the aftermath of what happened on Friday night… a day it actually happened, although much earlier before anything. does not start to escalate.
Check out his breakdown of what he saw … MP insists he never felt like things were escalating or unsafe. Yes, he notes that the young people who went there were indeed excited – as is customary at a festival of this nature – but, nothing has ever raised a red flag for him personally.
His main point here seems to be that people knew what they were getting themselves into when they came to Astroworld Fest – even going so far as to say that an injury or two can realistically be expected.
That said … Master P offers his condolences to the families and relatives of the 8 people lost, saying it’s never something someone is really planning, or actively trying to encourage.
Sure, we had to ask who he thinks is most to blame here – if he had to pick someone to point his finger at – but he wasn’t really in the accusing mood, saying that would be fixed. behind the scenes while making sure to highlight – Work is not at fault.
What Master P really wants to talk about is … how do we fix this to make sure it never happens again, and where do we go from here? Big questions, and everything remains to be seen.
Our sincere thanks to
