Another mass shooting, this time in Oslo, Norway, where 2 people were shot dead and 19 injured outside 2 bars in an area of town that is the center of gay nightlife.
It was a horrific scene…you hear the gunshots in the video as 40 witnesses watched and ran in horror. Police captured a suspect just minutes after the attack. A police spokesperson did not identify the suspected shooter or his motive. Cops think there was only one gunman.
A witness told Norwegian media: “I saw a man arrive at the scene with a bag. He took out a gun and started shooting.

Norway celebrates gay pride this month, and on Saturday – literally just hours after the attack – a parade was due to start as the culmination of the 10-day festival.
Norway is considered a progressive country… same-sex couples have had the right to marry since 2009.
Norwegian Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Storecalled the shooting a “cruel and deeply shocking attack on innocent people”.
The people of #Oslo march to support #LGBTQ people today. The official parade may have been cancelled, but the community is marching to show they won’t be intimidated by hate or violence. Am with everyone in spirit. #Oslove pic.twitter.com/ZgTt465iZ0

@Arturmaks
This type of violence is rare in Norway, so it is all the more shocking for the people who live there.
