Martha Stewart knows how to set the mood – but the one she chose with this sad announcement might be… a little off.
The famous home life guru made headlines on Saturday by revealing that several of her peacocks had been murdered by wild coyotes at one of her farms – presumably the one she has in northern India. New York State…an attack that apparently happened in broad daylight.

MS writes: “RIP handsome BlueBoy. The coyotes came in broad daylight and devoured him and five others, including the gorgeous White Boy, all the solutions to get rid of six big, aggressive coyotes who have expensive tastes in matters Poultry ??”
She goes on to explain that she will no longer let her peacocks — of which she is over 21, as she previously explained — roam outside their gated yard. Martha also says that they will add a fence at the top of their enclosure area to prevent more episodes.

Like we said…definitely a zero update. And while we’re sure Martha is devastated — she kind of suggested otherwise with the music she set her IG post to … namely, Marvin Gaye.
Indeed…as the video of one of his peacocks rolls, so does MG’s “Let’s Get It On”. And yes, there are plenty of jokes and memes in light of this. Hey, it’s mating season for them…maybe she encourages survivors to honor their dead by breeding with more offspring. 😅
