A Nashville man is fortunate enough to be alive after fireworks were launched inside his convertible and then exploded in his face… literally.
20 years Colin Kirby was driving home Sunday night in downtown Nashville with the roof down on his BMW, when suddenly an Infiniti pulled up beside him at a brake light. Someone inside rolled down a window and threw a lit explosive into the car.
Everything was recorded too, BTW… Kirby’s boyfriend was following him from behind, and his dashcam captured the senseless and explosive encounter.
The fireworks went off right next to Kirby’s head, causing minor burns and temporary hearing loss, but nothing more serious beyond that. He also set Kirby’s whip on fire… and the aftermath photos look pretty bad.
Kirby said he was able to stop and call 911 – and ended up seeking treatment in a hospital. Cops are still looking for 3 suspects who would face charges of aggravated assault with a lethal weapon.
