Mahomes, Watson Team Up To Send Meals To Frontline Workers Before NFL Kickoff
Patrick mahomes and Deshaun Watson just moved into the clutch for each other’s cities … donating meals to frontline workers at KC and Houston before facing the NFL season opener.
The Chiefs and Texans are set to kick off the 2020 campaign on Thursday night … and the 2 quarterbacks have decided to help their opposing team’s city by sending local food to those battling the pandemic.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP decided to send food from Cool Runnings Jamaican Grill – a black-owned restaurant in Houston – to workers at Harris Health System via Postmates.
Watson returned the favor by connecting workers at Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City with meals from Niecie’s Restaurant, a local black-owned soul food restaurant.
Let’s not forget – the last time these guys met on the field, the Texans took a 24-0 lead in the divisional round of the playoffs as the Chiefs won 51-31 … ultimately winning the Super Bowl.
Great to see the superstars play well before they go head to head to start the season … football is back, baby !!!
Our sincere thanks to
