Lil Durk is going to take some time off after a scary incident during his set at Lollapalooza left the rapper with a facial injury.
Durk posted a photo of himself in what appears to be a medical facility on Sunday with the caption, “Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago onstage, I’m going to take a break and focus on my health. I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Thank you all.”
Durk was halfway through performing his verse of Pooh Shiesty‘s “Back In Blood” when there was an explosion of smoke very close to him on stage … causing Durk to recoil, wiping and covering his face with his shirt.

Ironically or not, he continued to perform his verse Nardo Wick‘s “Who Wants Smoke??”
It’s currently unclear if the explosion was planned, and Durk was just in the wrong position, or if the effect happened unplanned.
Safety first!
