There is a first time for everything – James lebron was hit with a one-game suspension following Sunday’s savage incident… the first time he was banned in his 19-year career.
It’s a shocking decision, especially since the Lakers’ next game is in New York City against the Knicks on Tuesday … and Madison Square Garden is the biggest stage in the NBA.
Detroit Pistons player Isaiah Stewart was also suspended for two games for his involvement in the incident … with the league claiming he had escalated the altercation by “repeatedly and aggressively” pursuing James.
LBJ was only kicked out for the second time in his career after nudging Stewart in a box-out in the 3rd quarter … which sparked a senseless altercation.
It turned out that Bron would have felt uncomfortable with the “bow throwing … with an NBA insider Shams Charania reporting the future Hall of Fame tried to get Stewart’s number to apologize for the incident.
LBJ will serve his suspension on Tuesday, and Stewart will miss the Pistons’ home game against the Heat and Wednesday’s road game against the Bucks.
Our sincere thanks to
