Robert Smigelthe voice of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, was among 9 people arrested by United States Capitol Police and charged with unlawful entry… according to Fox News.
‘Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ staff members were arrested after taking photos and videos near the House Minority Leader’s offices Kevin McCarthy be p. Lauren Boebert.
Capitol Police said the building was closed to visitors Thursday night and staff members were there without proper identification and were alone.
Additionally, the USCP says the same group was kicked out of the Capitol earlier in the day during the Jan. 6 committee hearings.
The incident is still under investigation and the USCP says the “Colbert” staff members could face further criminal charges.
