Kid rockThe hate shows up again, and he seems damn proud of it – while responding to the video of him hurling a homophobic slur, he chooses to repeat the word and attack his detractors.
The singer publicly addressed the video TMZ posted of him using the epithet at a Tennessee bar last weekend by tweeting this… “If Kid Rock using the word f ***** offends you, there is high chances that you are. “
He tried to give it a friendly twist, adding, “Either way, I know he has a lot of love for his gay friends and I’m going to have a chat with him. Have a nice day.”
Kid attributed the comment to Bob ritchie – his legal name – in what appears to be a distorted use of the third person to excuse his behavior or dismiss the backlash he suffers.
Either way, it’s an incredibly bad look, but it clearly doesn’t care what people think.
We broke the story … Kid was on the mike on Saturday night at the FishLipz Bar & Grill when he dropped the homophobic insult amid a rant about the crowd recording it with smartphones.
That’s enough on the mark for the rocker, because he’s got used to to let escape whatever he thinks on stage, or anywhere else.
Our sincere thanks to
