A 12-year-old could very well be on the verge of becoming this country’s next great inventor – because he has prepared a homemade little machine to help people distance themselves socially.
The child’s name is Keashon, and his dad posted a video of him showing off his new invention … he calls it SAM (Social Awareness Machine) and it’s pretty straightforward as to what it does. According to Keashon, the machine will beep when there is something within 6 feet of you.
We’re not sure exactly how it works – it looks like a simple built-in sensor system – but the point is, this youngster didn’t build it himself from scratch … at least that’s what his. father described on social networks.
And hey, if it works as well as it looks in the video … it could potentially save lives. That, or disturb people. Either way, it seems effective at keeping people at bay.
Keashon’s father, Kyle, says her boy is an aspiring entrepreneur and engineer, and has appealed to the public for help to support his studies at a private school in Pennsylvania. So far they have already raised nearly $ 10,000. If that allows her creative spirit to flow, take our money!
