Kenosha ‘Vigilante’ With Long Gun Arrested, Booked for Homicide
10:15 am PT – The “vigilante” gunman in Kenosha who allegedly shot and killed at least two people has been captured by cops – and he now faces homicide charges.
Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested in Antioch, Illinois. Court records indicate that he was convicted of first degree homicide in connection with the Kenosha shooting. It appears he has been assigned to a public defender and is expected to appear in court for an extradition hearing later this week.
A man – whom witnesses described as part of a self-defense militia – with a long gun brazenly walked down a street in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Tuesday night and began firing his gun at people protesting against police fire on Jacob blake, killing 2, and marching incredibly right past a swarm of cops who let him into the night.
The protest centered around the courthouse and spiraled out of control, with water bottles, stones and fireworks aimed at the police. Police then fired rubber bullets and tear gas at the crowd, who then dispersed and moved several blocks.
It is then that the white vigilante appears on video with his weapon. He had reportedly already shot someone several blocks away and was being pursued by protesters trying to subdue him.
The vigilante falls to the ground as he is pursued, then begins to unload his weapon, hitting and killing 2 people.
And then the unthinkable happens. As police stormed the area in patrol cars and fortified vehicles, the vigilante – weapon clearly visible around his chest – raised his hands in the air. Police vehicles all pass him, as the crowd screams that he is the shooter.
It’s a stark contrast … the white vigilante posed a clear and present danger even though the cops didn’t know he was the shooter, but Jacob Blake, an unarmed black man, was shot 7 times in the back as he tried to do so. In his car. Jacob is now paralyzed from the waist.
