Kanye West Sues to Get on Presidential Ballot in Ohio After Signatures Rejected
Kanye west is suing the senior Ohio election official for allegedly doing everything possible to prevent Ye from running in the presidential poll … according to a new trial.
Kanye sues Republican state secretary Frank LaRose within days of the election, the election chief rejected nearly 15,000 signatures and other documents submitted by Kanye’s campaign, which deemed him unqualified as an independent candidate for Prez.
LaRose cited inconsistent information about the documents as the reason for throwing them out, but according to Kanye’s lawsuit … he was not allowed to do so in the first place.
Kanye’s attorneys say it is LaRose’s duty to accept any petition for an independent candidate as long as no protest is made and she does not violate any Ohio law.
Emergency filing to get Kanye on the Ohio ballot comes as his presidential candidacy is in shock – it was started the crucial poll in Wisconsin last week, as well as missing in Montana.
He was too withdrawn from the ballot in its home state, Illinois – even after a decrease of at least $ 30,000 to get there – because election officials said more than half of the signatures submitted were invalid.
On the bright side, he’s currently on the ballot in the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah, and Vermont … but that won’t do the job. The point is, if Ye’s campaign lasts, he would end up being a spoiler candidate, so Ohio matters because it’s a swing state.
