Kanye west seeks to bury the hatchet with Duck – inviting him to perform on stage with him in the name of the liberation of a famous Chicago gangster … all at the request of a J Prince.
You took to social media late Monday night with a video message for Drizzy – basically the guy is spreading an olive branch… and it looks like it could have been done by Prince, the big boss of Rap-A- Lot Records, because he was standing right next to Mr. West during the peace plea.
You see Kanye reading a statement, saying he wants to address the back-and-forth between him and Drake and end it by meeting for a benefit concert on December 7 in honor of Larry hoover, to be held in Los Angeles.
If you’re not familiar, Hoover is the former leader of a large Chicago gang, the Gangster Disciples, who was convicted of murder in the 1970s and sentenced to 6 life terms. Many believe he did more than enough time for his crime – and people like Kanye, J Prince, and apparently Drake have been pushing for his release.
Kanye addressed Hoover’s situation on his latest album, “DONDA,” and now… it looks like J Prince is orchestrating a ceasefire between Ye and Drake (again).
You may remember … JP negotiated something similar between the 2 rap giants a few years ago when their beef was an absolute record, and when Pusha T was right in the middle of it – exposing the fact that Drake had fathered a son he hadn’t made public.
Time will tell if Drake will pick up on Kanye on this – he seems pretty fed up with the dude, but then again… maybe he will to appease his rap godfather. One thing we are sure of is that Drake respects J Prince.
