Kanye West Files for Rights to ‘God Save America’ Amid Campaign Push
Kanye west seems to have one last trick up his sleeve in his last minute presidential campaign blitz … let go and leave it to God.
You’ve just filed legal documents to lock down the rights to “God Save America” – which he wants to put on shirts, sweaters and hoodies in what seems like a last ditch effort to get his message across that was at the forefront in its first advertising campaign … bringing faith back to politics.
It is not known if this is a campaign slogan – like Barack obamathe famous HOPE or AssetIt’s Make America Great Again – but it reads like it. The line also sounds like a play on “God Bless America” … both patriotic, but a bit moody too with “Save” replaced.
Kanye registered the trademark last week, which closely matches the release of his first campaign announcement … something that just hit the ether on Monday, 3 weeks before voters went to the polls on November 3. Some people think that this ad – and now maybe this new tagline that he wants to lock down – is too little, too late. That, or maybe just in time … depends on who you ask.
Anyway, if you get approval on this … get ready to see some new products – probably at the cost of a high selling point 😅.
Our sincere thanks to
